By: Patrick Donegan

SEI-DC’s Managing Director, Patrick Donegan introduces his new weekly email on tech platforms, design, data, and the future of work — and what motivated him to build it.

I am excited to announce the launch of my new weekly newsletter, Exit Interview. As a Managing Director at SEI-DC with over 18 years of digital transformation leadership experience, I’ve always been deeply passionate about what tech can do for the future of work, and innovative developments in design and data.

In my mind, 2020 has cast light on the unique challenges and opportunities facing modern HR departments. COVID-19 has only accelerated the focus on employee experience and the need to digitize HR operations. As more companies invest in digital, collaborative technologies will continue to transform employee expectations, and the value that HR departments can create. New best-of-breed technologies are challenging the “one-size-fits-all” solutions that have dominated the market in the past.

In short, we’re living in an exciting moment in the development of HR Tech, and keeping an eye on market changes can uncover new opportunities and transform how we work, beyond HR.

But as we know, keeping abreast of new developments can be hard. For some time, I’ve been looking for one “source” that curates modern takes on HR Tech, perspectives from the people who build it, and its impact on enterprise — something that’s tailor-made by professionals for decision-makers.

I never found it — so I decided to build it.

Every Wednesday, I’ll be sharing fresh insights on tech platforms, design, data, and the future of work — straight to your inbox. Here’s the link to the first edition.

Exit Interview is a work in progress. I see it as a creative adventure still in its early stages. Maybe it works right now, maybe it’ll take some time to come together — but I see a gap in the marketplace and an opportunity to make something impactful. If you agree, I value any and all feedback on how to improve it, suggestions on what to include, and conversations to have.

For now, I invite you to subscribe and get in touch!
