The annual list, now in its 11th year, is compiled by Forbes in partnership with market research firm Statista, drawing on surveys from more than 1,250 consulting clients and 1,150 consulting professionals across 33 categories spanning 16 industries and 17 functional areas.

This year’s results carry added weight, as the AI category saw a double-digit increase in awards year over year, underscoring the growing demand for consultants who can turn AI ambition into measurable outcomes. It’s a space where SEI has been building expertise for years, long before the hype.
Meanwhile, the consulting industry continues to expand, with IBISWorld reporting estimated U.S. revenue of $412 billion in 2025 and an annual growth rate exceeding 2% over the past five years. In a field this crowded, we’re proud to be recognized among the best.
