PHX: Valley of the Sun’s Best Kept Secret

A few years back, I put away the road warrior suitcase to give local consulting a try before ultimately finding (and eventually becoming an owner) of SEI-Phoenix.  I was searching for a company where the experience was more than just a job and a paycheck, and I soon realized I had found a firm that was one of the best kept secrets in the Valley of the Sun.  Our team is focused on building a community and giving back to the one we live in – both inside and outside the office.

SEI-Phoenix enjoys opportunities to give back to our local community while spending valuable time with one another, all with the added perk of living in one of the most beautiful places in the country.  We are always up for a challenge whether it be giving back to great causes or regularly participating in triathlons and races like Pat’s Run.

We also focus on supporting those in the local community who could use our help.  We support the Special Olympics each year (this last year’s event was especially significant).  Most recently, several members of the Phoenix office and their families helped to fill large family grocery bags at a local food bank in time for the holidays.  We were shocked to learn that our couple hours of service resulted in at least 7,000 meals.

Living in the Valley of the Sun, we don’t have much to complain about in terms of weather (in fact, several of the SEI-Phoenix consultants love to sing the praises of the weather to their families who still live in the colder climates like Boston and Chicago).  Because of this ideal winter climate, we are able to participate in outdoor activities year round.  In addition to our community outreach events, we also get out for beautiful hikes, off-roading fun, shooting range trips, and boating on the nearby lakes.  It doesn’t hurt that we are surrounded by mountains and have the opportunity to enjoy all four seasons within a short drive here in Arizona without having to live through each one of them!

Whether it be through our community involvement efforts or simply enjoying the great weather together here in Phoenix, we’ve made SEI-Phoenix a great place to work.  Now that you know the secret, come check it out for yourself.
