Consultant | SEI Atlanta
Why SEI? What keeps you here?
At SEI, we’re a team of friends who share common values and goals. We’re committed to excellence, our clients, and each other. Since we are an employee-owned company, my colleagues are my business partners. Together we share the opportunity and responsibility of delivering outstanding value to our clients, building our local office, upholding our core values, supporting our community, and helping each other grow.
What are your business and technical skills?
Having worked across all phases of the SDLC, I now specialize in the Program/Project Management and Integration side. As a Systems Integrator and Project Manager for large scale financial implementations, I connect the dots between people, process and technology. I own the success of the overall solution, managing the risk, benefits, and changes to the organization while ensuring business continuity.
What is your favorite SEI moment or event?
Being named a Best Place to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle! They hosted a big event with all the nominees where they announced the winners. I was so proud to attend, representing SEI and competing amongst the best companies in Atlanta. We took second place. I can’t begin to express the sense of pride that comes with being recognized for providing an outstanding work environment and company culture. It was wonderful validation for something I already knew: SEI is, without a doubt, one of the best places to work!
Something interesting about SEI…
I work with someone who still owns a blackberry, someone who pre-ordered a Tesla and makes the best hot pepper jelly, someone (a man) who loves to dance to “I Feel like a Woman” by Shania Twain, someone who does knee slides every time Footloose comes on, and someone who used to be a cop. (One of them is our CEO and one of them is the MD for our Boston office!)
