Marina Parker

Consultant  |  SEI Dallas

Why SEI? What keeps you here?
Joining SEI was a no brainer for me, and it came down to a few factors: the people, the collaborative environment and the ability to be at home with my family every night while continuing to experience everything I love about consulting. Throughout my interview process, I loved hearing from other SEIers about how consultants were equals, void of unnecessary titles, and about how everyone had the opportunity to work in true partnership with one another to make each office, each other, and each client, become successful, and I knew I had to be a part of it. I wake up every day feeling proud to represent the SEI brand and to be working side by side by an elite team of professionals who are not only great people, but are also incredibly talented in their respective fields. I look forward to being along for the ride as the company grows.

What are your business and technical skills?
Program and Project Management, Organizational Change Management, Business Strategy, Business Analysis, and Business Process Optimization

What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to travel and spend time with my family. I am also a big fan of entertaining and getting big groups together for dinner parties and fun events – the more the merrier! Some of the charities I am passionate about are the North Texas Food Bank, Wounded Warriors Project, and the American Cancer Society.

Where have you made the greatest impact at SEI?
One of my biggest contributions at SEI was partnering with a colleague from the Cincinnati office to stand up an ongoing PMP certification program for consultants across our offices. We developed a robust training framework, collateral, and a scalable support structure that provided the ability for dozens of consultants hone their PM skills and obtain their PMP certifications.
